VFinity’s web-native multi-media digital asset management and production
software, V-Business 2.3, will be shown at the National Association of
Broadcasters conference (NAB) as part of IBM’s “Media Hub
Solution Framework.”
Media Hub is IBM's services oriented architecture (SOA)-based solution
for the media and entertainment industry to manage the increasing complexity
of running a content-oriented business from the point of creation to the
distribution of digital content. VFinity’s V-Business runs on IBM
System x and blade servers, as well as integrates seamlessly with IBM
WebSphere Application Server and IBM DB2 in the Media Hub framework.
V-Business handles all types of digital media, including: videos, photos,
audio files, and documents. At the core of the solution is a highly flexible
and browser-based metadata classification system that enables the easy
search and retrieval of any form of media content.
